Parents at the FDA
Every parent and guardian is automatically a member of the school's Parent Association.
Parent Association
Each New York City Department of Education school is required to have a Parent Association or a Parent Teacher Association (PA/PTA). All parents, step-parents, legally appointed guardians, foster parents and persons in parental relation are automatically members of their school's PA/PTA.
School Leadership Team (SLT)
The purpose of this team is to collaboratively come together to discuss the grows and glows of the school. There are meetings that are held monthly to figure ways to improve overall school success.
PTA meeting schedule
The FDA PTA meets at 5pm, in person at FDA. Dates below are the 2024–2025 schedule; call the office to confirm this year's calendar.
